Join us in your pajamas for our community-favorite Winter Dance & Raffle event on Friday, December 13. This family-friendly event will have a DJ & dancing, games, crafts, concessions, face painting, our 3rd annual gingerbread house competition, and of course, the opportunity to win some of our coveted raffle baskets & prizes! This is one of the PTO's biggest events of the year and can't wait to celebrate with everyone.
The Winter Raffle is one of our favorite community events of the year. The raffle prizes consist of themed baskets from each classroom and donations from area businesses and schools. Each classroom parent coordinates donations to put together amazing themed baskets to raffle off the night of the event. Local businesses have donated items such as restaurant gift cards, Washington Nationals tickets, family activities like Zava Zone, BRAG, Leesburg Animal Park, US Tigers, and so much more! This year we will be raffling off an experience to throw the first pitch at Battlefield High School's first home softball game.
Don't wait to buy your tickets! Please consider pre-ordering your raffle tickets in advance. BONUS: We will pre-label your name so you don't have to on the night of the event.
Dance the night away with family and friends. We will have a DJ hosting the dance, photo booth, face painting, craft, and more.
Back by popular demand: Our 2024 Gingerbread House Contest! Families are encouraged to submit a Gingerbread House that they create. The houses will be on display during the event. The house with the most votes (as voted on by the Alvey staff) will be announced at our Winter Dance & Raffle event and will receive a $50 Amazon gift card.
We will have lots of concessions available to purchase at the event to include pizza, popcorn, candy, drinks, and much more! We accept cash, Venmo (@Alveypto), credit card, and apple payments.
In order to make this event a huge success and fundraiser for Alvey's PTO, we need donations and volunteers. Please consider donating and/or volunteering to assist with setup, cleanup, and assisting during the event.
